Hey all, any ideas on how to make this place stompit.app a better one?

What were you trying to do? I was trying to maintain speed controll by doing many turns instead of a longer arc length on this somewhat steep, icy and narrow slope. Holding on for life abit.

What did you notice yourself? It was going ok but I look a bit park and ride like and not as dynamic as I would like to ski it.

What would you like feedback on? How can I be more dynamic and getting higher edge angles in a situation like this?

What were you trying to do?Switch misty 540 japan in alomost the exact same way I would throw a flat 540 japan. But didnt quite work but it felt fantastic.

What did you notice yourself?I popped of the jump too early and made it more flippy than I wanted to. It felt more like I would set a rodeo instead of a Flat 540.

What would you like feedback on?How can I do it better and set it more like I would in a Flatspin 540 but in this fun Switch 540 Misty Variation?

Welcome to the Freestyle Analysis Zone!
This is where we break sick tricks on skis or even on trampoline.

🎥 How to Post

  1. Film you tricks. Camera placed close enough to the action that we can see whats going on. Side angles great for correcting jumps, 45° angle from the in-run is gives a generally descent perspective.

  2. Upload your freestyle clip here

  3. Write a community post with a short description of what you were trying to do.

  4. Use the template below so everyone can understand the context and help effectively.

🧩 Video Analysis Template

What were you trying to do?
Example: I was trying to fully pop and do a 180. Trying to land perpendicular to the landing.

What did you notice yourself?
Example: My upper body bent towards my skis on landing.

What would you like feedback on?
Example: How can I better stomp the landing perpendicular to it?

Welcome to the Technique Analysis Zone!
This is where we break down skiing. Parallel turns, carving, short turns, moguls, and powder.

🎥 How to Post

  1. Film you turns. Camera placed in the middle of your corridor far down the slope and you ski past the camera for multiple angles in one shot.

  2. Upload your video here

  3. Write a community post with a short description of what you were trying to do.

  4. Use the template below so everyone can understand the context and help effectively.

🧩 Video Analysis Template

What were you trying to do?
Example: I was focusing on carving with higher edge angles by pulling up the inside leg but struggled to stay balanced on the outside ski.

What did you notice yourself?
Example: My upper body rotates slightly inside, and I lose pressure at the end of the turn.

What would you like feedback on?
Example: How can I stay more stacked over the outside ski while increasing edge angle?

🏁 Welcome to the Stomp It Community!

Thank you so much for joining and supporting what we do at Stomp It — it truly means a lot.
My hope is that, over time, you’ll feel you’ve received far more support & value than what you’ve paid for — not just through the tutorials, but through your progress, confidence, and connection to skiing itself.

🎬 What’s Coming

We’re currently editing 30+ updated freestyle tutorials filmed both on snow and trampolines.
This winter we’ll also shoot new advanced freestyle and ski technique lessons, so there’s a lot to look forward to.

If you’ve just joined, please have a bit of patience while we keep adding content — and while the Stomp It App is being approved on the App Stores.

🧭 Where to Start

Pick your learning path:

  • Ski Technique — build clean turns, control, and carving precision.

  • Freestyle — progress safely through grabs, spins, flips, and corks.
Or better yet — explore both!

Inside each collection (Episodes 1–8), you’ll find a step-by-step progression that builds perfectly from one lesson to the next. Follow the order for the best results — or roam freely if you prefer exploring at your own pace.

💬 Get Involved

Head over to the 🎯 Season Goals / Say Hi section and introduce yourself!

Tell us where you ski, what you’re working on, and what you hope to achieve this season.

We’re stoked to have you here. Let’s keep learning, improving, and having more fun skiing together!
